Rev. Ronnie W. Gurganus was reared in the Williamston First Pentecostal Holiness Church.  He
surrendered his life to the Lord, was sanctified and baptized with the Holy Ghost at 20 years of age
in January 1976.  The Lord soon called Rev. Gurganus to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, the
highest calling upon one's life.  In June 1982, he was granted a local minister's license with the
North Carolina Church and was later ordained.

On May 1, 1983, his pastoral duties began:
Plymouth Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1983-1987
Snow Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1987-1993
Grace Community Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1993-1996
Hodges Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1996-Present

Hodges Chapel has experienced a growth in church membership and attendance during Rev.
Gurganus' ministry.  Souls have been saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost.
Rev. Gurganus' wife, Deborah, serves as church pianist, provides special singing, teaches Sunday
School and serves on the local Women's Ministry board.

They have three children Holly, David and Zach.
